Emirati Women's Day: Sheikha Fatima launches national charter for Emirati women

On Emirati Women's Day, the Family Development Foundation unveiled a national charter for Emirati women to honor and continue the legacy of Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak. This chart, known as Following in the Footsteps of the Mother of the Nation, was launched under her direct guidance. The charter, which draws from her vision for women's empowerment and human development, consists of eight national commitments aimed at guiding the advancement of Emirati women.

These commitments focus on embracing national identity, excelling in education and work, contributing to the UAE's development, maintaining family stability, and embodying the dual role of achieving and nurturing. The charter also highlights the importance of intergenerational bonds, encouraging women to learn from the wisdom of senior citizens and acknowledge their contributions.

Finally, it emphasizes the role of women in supporting national initiatives that promote quality of life and sustainable development, all while upholding the values of leadership, empowerment, and national responsibility championed by Sheikha Fatima.
