UAE launches 'Following in the Footsteps of the Mother of the Nation' charter to empower Emirati women

Abu Dhabi: In honor of Emirati Women's Day, the Family Development Foundation announced the launch of the "Following in the Footsteps of the Mother of the Nation" Charter, a national framework inspired by the vision of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, the esteemed "Mother of the Nation". The charter aims to empower Emirati women, foster human potential, and uphold national identity, leadership, and responsibility.

The charter consists of eight key commitments, each representing a pillar of the Emirati women's journey. These commitments include embracing national identity and authentic Emirati values, pursuing excellence in education, work, and innovation, and contributing to the nation's comprehensive development. The charter also emphasizes the importance of family stability and social cohesion, encouraging a balanced approach to professional aspirations and family responsibilities.
