On September 1, up to 17 students from Vijayapura participated in a unique event where they rode bicycles while blindfolded. The skill learning center known as 'Learners Zone' organized the activity, where the children rode for approximately 5 kilometers. They claimed to have mastered a skill called 'Gandhari Vidya', which enables them to perform everyday tasks while blindfolded.
The participants were aged between 6 and 14 years old, and they aimed to set a world record. Basavaraj Yaligar, Deputy Superintendent of Police and Karnataka Lokayukta, led the procession starting from Sainik School and passing through Godavari Circle, Shivaji Circle, Gandhi Circle, Basaveshwara Circle, Dr. Ambedkar Circle, and culminating at the Gol Gumbaz.
