BISE Sahiwal 9th Class Result Gazette Released

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Sahiwal has released the 9th Class Result Gazette for the 2026 academic year. The SSC Part-I First Annual Examination results were announced on September 2, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. A total of 89,872 candidates applied for the examination, of which 87,093 students appeared. Out of the total candidates, 37,803 passed, which translates to an overall pass percentage of 43.41%.

The examination was conducted between April 17 and May 8, 2026, covering students from the Sahiwal, Okara, and Pakpattan districts. The complete gazette consists of 3,300 pages and includes information on student records, institution-wise results, subject-wise performance, district statistics, and special result codes.

In terms of gender performance, female candidates outperformed their male counterparts in the 2026 Class 9 examination. Out of 45,414 female candidates, 23,039 passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 50.73%. In contrast, 41,679 male candidates appeared, and 14,764 passed, leading to a pass percentage of 35.42%.

The districts' pass percentages varied, with Sahiwal recording the highest overall pass percentage at 44.01%, followed by Okara at 43.63% and Pakpattan at 42.10%. Okara had the highest number of candidates, with 34,573 students appearing for the examination.

Okara district had the highest pass percentage among the three districts, with 15,085 out of 34,573 candidates passing, which is a pass rate of 43.63%. In Sahiwal, 13,994 out of 31,796 candidates passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 44.01%. Pakpattan had the lowest overall pass percentage at 42.10%, with 8,724 out of 20,724 candidates passing.

Regular candidates achieved a higher pass percentage than private students. A total of 67,897 regular candidates appeared, and 31,303 passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 46.10%. In contrast, private candidates included 19,196 students, of which 6,500 passed, translating to a pass rate of 33.86%.

The Science Group had the largest number of candidates, with 66,719 students appearing for the examination. Out of these, 32,959 passed, leading to an overall pass percentage of 49.40%. The Science Group's male candidates recorded a pass percentage of 39.46%, while female candidates had a pass rate of 59.48%. In the General Group, a total of 15,464 candidates appeared, and 2,769 passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 17.91%.
