After missing deadline, Bengaluru Metro Pink Line’s 7.5-km stretch ready, inauguration expected in September

The National Service Authority (NSA) has set a September 4 deadline for students to resolve discrepancies between their academic records and Ghana Card details. Failure to complete the rectification process by this date will prevent affected students from participating in National Service this year. The NSA issued this directive on September 2, targeting students who have already begun resolving discrepancies but have not yet finished the process.

Students who need assistance in aligning their institutional records with their Ghana Card details and possess all relevant supporting documents should visit the NSA Headquarters or the NSA Kumasi Regional Office between September 2 and September 4. The Authority aims to provide a final opportunity for these students to regularize their records and complete their National Service registration.

Educational institutions that have identified errors in students’ records but have not yet completed the rectification process are also encouraged to participate in the exercise. Institutions and affected students are required to provide necessary documentation, including Gazette publication, Gazette Receipt, and Affidavit, to support the formal correction of records.

The NSA emphasized the importance of ensuring that students’ academic records match their official identification documents. Failure to resolve discrepancies by the deadline may lead to students being unable to undertake National Service this year. The NSA warned against individuals posing as NSA officials and offering to resolve biodata or registration issues for payment. Students were advised not to share personal information or make payments to unauthorized persons and to use only official channels for assistance.
