NSA announces final window for rectification of biodata mismatch

The National Service Authority (NSA) has provided students with a final opportunity to rectify any discrepancies between their biodata and institutional records. In a notice issued on September 2, 2026, the NSA announced that students who have begun addressing their biodata discrepancies but need further assistance can visit either the NSA Headquarters or the NSA Kumasi Regional Office between September 2 and September 4, 2026.

The aim of this exercise is to ensure students' school records match their Ghana Card information and to complete any necessary steps to validate their records. The NSA has also encouraged schools and other educational institutions that have identified errors in students' records but have not yet completed the rectification to participate in this opportunity.

To support the formal rectification process, students may need to provide a Gazette publication, a Gazette receipt, and an affidavit. The NSA advised students to ensure their academic records align with their official identification documents. Failure to resolve biodata discrepancies by Friday, September 4, 2026, may prevent students from participating in National Service for the year.

The Authority cautioned students against impersonators posing as NSA officials and demanding money for resolving biodata or registration issues. Students were instructed not to share personal information with unauthorized individuals and to use only official NSA channels for assistance.
