2 ditahan bayi ditemui dalam tong sanitari di tandas lapangan terbang

Two newborn babies, a male born to a local woman and a male born to a Myanmar national, were discovered inside a disabled person's latrine at Bayan Lepas International Airport's outdoor parking area. The infants were found by a cleaning worker who heard their cries emanating from within a sanitary waste container before they were taken to Pantai Hospital for treatment.

Chief Superintendent Anuwal Ab Wahab stated that the investigation and review of closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage led to the arrest of a 23-year-old local woman at Bukit Jambul Complex to assist with the investigation. He added that further investigation resulted in the arrest of a 22-year-old male Myanmar national who worked as a security guard and failed to produce valid travel documents.

The case is being investigated under Section 317 of the Penal Code, and further investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances of the infants' birth and the identities of the individuals detained in connection with the incident.
