Two newborn babies found inside a disabled person's waste bin at the international airport in Penang have been arrested, according to police. The bodies were discovered by a cleaning worker who heard the infants crying inside the bin before being taken to the Penang Hospital for medical attention.

The case began when a 23-year-old local woman was detained at the Bukit Jambul Complex to assist with the investigation, according to the statement. Police further investigations led to the arrest of a 22-year-old Myanmar man who worked as a security guard and failed to produce valid travel documents. The investigation is being conducted under Section 317 of the Penal Code, and further inquiries are ongoing to determine the abandonment and identify any connection between the detained individuals and the incident.
