Una directiva de Bank of America, asesinada en Times Square

Erin Piacenti, a 32-year-old executive from Bank of America based in Chester, New Jersey, was killed in Times Square on Thursday. She was stabbed in the abdomen by Pamela Cisneros, a 49-year-old woman with mental health issues. The victim succumbed to her injuries at the hospital shortly after the incident, which occurred near 41st Street and Seventh Avenue.

The perpetrator, Pamela Cisneros, was later shot and killed by police after attacking Piacenti and a 68-year-old man who had just exited the subway with his wife. A witness reported that Cisneros pulled two knives from a red bag and attacked the couple. Authorities believe the attacks were random and not provoked, with no known connection between the victims and Cisneros.

Following the shootings, Cisneros continued down Seventh Avenue, where she was encountered by police between 42nd and 43rd Streets. Despite being given four minutes to surrender the knives, she refused and was subsequently shot by authorities, later dying in the hospital.
