The US Army has experienced a significant leadership shakeup during the Trump administration. Army Secretary Dan Driscoll has resigned from his post after 18 months, citing his effectiveness in advancing President Trump's agenda during historic military operations and restoring an emphasis on readiness and lethality. White House spokeswoman Anna Kelly praised Driscoll's contributions, including his role in negotiating between Russia and Ukraine.

However, tensions with Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth have been widely reported, leading to Driscoll's departure. This is the latest in a series of leadership changes within the military, with previous departures of top military leaders such as Gen. Randy George and Gen. Christopher Donahue.
