Rassie wants Boks to end home Test season on a high: Bring on the vuvuzelas at the Calabash

The Calabash, formerly known as Soccer City or FNB Stadium in Johannesburg, will serve as the stage for the third Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry Test match between the Springboks and All Blacks this Saturday. Currently, the series stands at one-all, with two matches remaining. As this will be the last game in South Africa for both teams before heading to the USA for the final encounter, Springbok coach Rassie Erasmus is eager for a strong finish.

It's the first time the Boks will face off at the stadium since 2013. Erasmus expressed excitement about bringing the game to the people of Soweto, despite the potentially lower ticket sales compared to previous soccer matches. He emphasized the significance of this match, as it will be the last in front of the home South African crowd until next year.

Erasmus highlighted the competitive nature of the series and the importance of maintaining a positive outlook and avoiding any negative media attention. He also noted that while winning would be ideal, the focus should remain on ensuring they don't lose the series, as they still have a crucial game in the USA ahead of them.
