Pakistan PMO omits PM Modi, Iran President from SCO family photo; Sharif later posts full image

The Pakistan Prime Minister's Office (PMO) recently omitted Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian from a group photograph of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit in Bishkek. The cropped image, posted by the PMO, only featured the heads of state present at the two-day summit on August 31 and September 1.

The Pakistan PMO announced on Tuesday that the photo was taken during the Council of Heads of State Summit in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. However, Prime Minister Sharif later posted the complete photograph on his official social media account. The photograph displayed all the leaders who attended the summit, including Prime Minister Modi and President Pezeshkian.

Meanwhile, Indian Prime Minister Modi held bilateral meetings with Iranian President Pezeshkian and Russian President Vladimir Putin during his visit to Kyrgyzstan. The summit agenda included discussing ways to combat terrorism and promoting economic cooperation among SCO member nations.
