Miley Cyrus Announces New ‘Bass Persuades’ Album, Two Hollywood Bowl Shows; Drops Last Name

Miley Cyrus, now professionally known simply as Miley, is set to release her new album titled "Bass Persuades" on September 18 via Atlantic Records. The album has been in the works since the release of her previous record, "Something Beautiful," which came out just over a year prior. On social media, Cyrus shared her thoughts on the album, stating that music has the power to touch us, make us feel, sing along, dance, and express every emotion we experience.

The title of the album, "Bass Persuades," is a statement Cyrus believes encapsulates the essence of her music.

Since the launch of "Something Beautiful," Cyrus has been quite busy. She dropped a deluxe version of the album, featuring collaborations with renowned musicians David Byrne and Lindsey Buckingham. She also lent her voice to an original song for James Cameron's "Avatar: Fire and Ash." Additionally, Cyrus staged a special celebrating the 20th anniversary of her character Hannah Montana. To mark the release of "Bass Persuades," Cyrus has announced two concerts at Los Angeles' Hollywood Bowl, scheduled for October 16 and 18.

In a heartfelt tribute, Cyrus honored her godmother, Dolly Parton, who passed away at the age of 80. Following the release of "Bass Persuades," the album will feature ten tracks, including the singles "Bass Persuades" and "Neon Signs" (featuring Andrew Wyatt of Miike Snow).
