Miley Cyrus Announces New Album ‘Bass Persuades,’ Sets Two Shows for Hollywood Bowl

Miley Cyrus announced her 10th studio album, "Bass Persuades," along with two exclusive Hollywood Bowl concerts. She teased the news on social media, sharing the album's cover art and release date of September 18. The album's cover features Cyrus holding a rose in her mouth while her face is shown from the shoulders up. She described the album as "vulnerable, sweet, and strong."

Cyrus also posted an electrifying video of herself playing guitar in a white jumpsuit, hinting at the musical direction of the new project. Following the announcement, Cyrus expressed her excitement about touring at the Hollywood Bowl in October, her favorite venue to experience music and see her favorite artists. She noted that it's been years since she's performed in a large venue and that she's bringing her "heart to LA."

Tickets for the Oct. 16 and 18 shows will be available through an American Express presale starting September 8, followed by Spotify and general admission sales. Cyrus' last album, "Something Beautiful," reached No. 4 on the Billboard 200 in 2025, and her previous hit "Flowers" topped the Billboard Hot 100 for eight weeks. The announcement of the new album came shortly after Parton's death, and Cyrus mourned her godmother, saying, "I have an angel by my side. I always have."
