'Hoping for a miracle': Hani refuses to give up on husband caught in Nepal floods

Hani Othman remains hopeful and optimistic as she continues her search for her husband, senior fire officer Mohd Fakhrul Munir Mohd Isa, amidst the aftermath of Nepal's devastating floods. The Kuala Lumpur resident visited Kathmandu to gather information on the ongoing search efforts for her missing husband, whose name is affectionately known as Loe.

Hani is unsure of how long she will remain in Nepal, as she seeks to aid flood victims and continue her husband's search. She has already procured essential supplies for victims and is awaiting approval to transport them to the affected region. In the meantime, she has partnered with a Nepalese non-governmental organization to distribute crucial items and support the search for Loe and his team, who were among 17 Malaysians caught in the flood.

The devastated mountainous area has posed significant challenges to rescue operations due to damaged roads and disrupted communication channels.
