Ferrari's Schumacher-inspired livery, F1 leader to cop penalty in Italy

Ferrari will be running a special livery at the Italian Grand Prix to honor Michael Schumacher. The seven-time Formula 1 world champion will be the inspiration behind the one-off design, featuring seven stars on the nose of the car to represent his world titles. Kimi Antonelli, the current Formula 1 championship leader, will receive a grid penalty as Mercedes changes power unit components on his car.

This penalty comes after multiple issues Mercedes has faced this year, including Antonelli's failure to finish in Barcelona and his teammate George Russell suffering problems in Canada and Belgium. Despite it being Antonelli's home race, Mercedes Racing Director Toto Wolff decided to take the penalty at Monza, known as the Temple of Speed, believing it to be the best track for the championship leader.
