Eric Opoku warns Sankore youth against violence

Asunafo South's Member of Parliament and Minister for Food and Agriculture, Eric Opoku, has issued a stern warning to the Sankore youth against engaging in violent acts. In a recent address to the community's chiefs and residents, Mr. Opoku emphasized that anyone disrupting peace in the area will face consequences as per the law.

He highlighted the current tranquility in the community as a crucial foundation for progress and stressed the need to safeguard it. Mr. Opoku cautioned that individuals attempting to incite unrest, particularly among the youth, would not be protected by opinion leaders or other influential figures. He firmly stated that Sankore's development and the enhancement of residents' livelihoods can only be achieved if peace and stability are maintained.

Consequently, Mr. Opoku urged the youth to refrain from activities that could jeopardize the area's peace and instead concentrate their efforts on productive endeavors. He also pointed out the employment opportunities created under the current administration, especially for young people who have shown dedication and a willingness to work.

The Agric Minister expressed optimism about these employment interventions, affirming the government's commitment to tackling youth unemployment, and predicted a gradual decrease in the challenge. He encouraged the youth to seize the available opportunities and make a positive contribution to the development of Sankore and the broader Asunafo South constituency.
