2027: Turaki-led PDP faction joins G-100 opposition coalition against APC

In 2027, the Turaki-led faction of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has joined forces with the G-100 opposition coalition, aiming to unseat the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the upcoming general elections. The G-100 is a collective of prominent opposition leaders committed to removing the APC from power by 2027. Ini Ememobong, the National Publicity Secretary of the Turaki-led faction's Interim National Working Committee, explained that the decision to align with the G-100 stemmed from the "wailings of Nigerians" under the repressive Bola Tinubu-led APC government.

According to Ememobong, the PDP, represented by the official @OfficialPDPNig account, has officially endorsed the G-100's initiative to establish a united front against the incumbent APC candidate in the 2027 elections. He emphasized that this move is driven by the urgent need to join hands with other credible political entities in search of the country's redemption from the myriad vices perpetrated by the ruling APC.

Ememobong highlighted that the Turaki-led faction's decision to participate in the G-100's first meeting on August 31st, 2026, further demonstrates their commitment to contributing to the formation of a robust all-opposition platform aimed at toppling the current administration and rebuilding Nigeria for the benefit of its citizens.
