The Courier & Press presents their choices for Week 2's Indiana high school football Player of the Week. Several outstanding performances were on display across Southwestern Indiana. One standout was Memorial senior Geno Aimone, who achieved a career-high 101 rushing yards and two touchdowns in a dramatic 21-17 comeback victory against North.

North Knox's Brayden Bilskie was another dominant force with an impressive 210 rushing yards and six touchdowns, leading his team to a massive 60-14 win over Eastern Greene. Reitz's Elijah Darrett contributed significantly with three receptions for 108 yards and two scores in a 37-32 win against Tri-West. Central's KeMani Doyle had a multifaceted game, amassing 111 receiving yards and three touchdowns, along with two interceptions and two fumble recoveries in his team's 37-32 triumph over Bosse.

Boonville's Mason Jones delivered a powerful performance with 127 rushing yards and three touchdowns as his team secured a 40-0 victory over Mount Vernon. Tell City's Jake Noble sealed the game with a game-winning 37-yard field goal in a 37-36 win against West Washington. Gibson Southern's Elijah Ortiz combined for seven catches for 51 yards and two touchdowns, as well as a crucial interception, in a 37-21 win over St. Pius X. Vincennes Lincoln's Brody Phillips showcased his all-around skills with 10 receptions for 237 yards and two touchdowns, plus two sacks on defense in a 237-14 loss to Northview.

Finally, North Posey's Carter Schickel led his team to a commanding 48-14 win over Tecumseh, going 24-of-35 passing for 371 yards and four touchdowns. And then there's Anden Uebelhor, a Forest Park junior quarterback, who led his team to a 43-14 win over Perry Central, completing 14 of 20 passes for 332 yards and four touchdowns.
