'Should know better': Hanson accuses PM of incitement

Pauline Hanson criticized Prime Minister Anthony Albanese for allegedly inciting political violence against her party following his speech at Queensland's Labor conference. During the conference, Albanese described One Nation as a threat to democracy, calling them dangerous, divisive, and dishonest. However, Hanson argued that Albanese was the one inciting violence through his comments, stating that she has received numerous death threats.

One Nation's rise in the latest Newspoll, in which they secured the lead on primary votes at 30%, coincided with the Prime Minister's criticism. Hanson stated that the government was concerned about the party's growing influence, particularly after winning a Labor safe seat in Western Australia. Opposition assistant minister Patrick Gorman rejected the allegations, stating that One Nation is dangerous, populist, and dishonest.

Despite this, 31% of those surveyed would prefer Hanson as prime minister, with the party facing criticism and booing at anti-migration protests in Victoria.
