‘Mahama government is the worst in Ghana’s history’ – Amin Adam

Former Finance Minister and Karaga MP, Dr Mohammed Amin Adam, has harshly criticized the John Mahama-led government, calling it the "worst government in Ghana's history". Dr Amin Adam made these remarks while addressing residents of Nyangbulun, where he had recently provided various forms of assistance. He explained that he intentionally stepped aside for two years in order to evaluate the performance of the current administration and witness the impact of their governance.

Dr Amin Adam made clear that the Mahama government is the worst in the country's history, and he hopes this perspective is widely understood. The former Finance Minister had refrained from holding office for two years to observe the outcomes of the Mahama-led administration, which he felt necessary before making a judgment.

In his support for the Nyangbulun community, Dr Amin Adam played a role in the construction of a new Community Health Planning and Services (CHPS) compound. This facility was aimed at enhancing the residents' access to healthcare services. Additionally, he donated GH¢20,000 towards the medical treatment of the community Imam's son, demonstrating his commitment to improving the well-being of those in his constituency.

Further addressing the community's challenges, Dr Amin Adam assured them that he would tackle their water issues. He promised to repair the community's broken pipe within a week, showcasing his willingness to act promptly on pressing local concerns. As an opposition member, Dr Amin Adam reiterated his dedication to supporting the Karaga constituency, urging residents to remain actively engaged with their leaders and to work together in finding solutions to the various challenges facing their community.
