KEA prepares for upcoming recruitment examinations

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) is gearing up for a series of recruitment examinations coming up in the coming days. To ensure smooth proceedings, KEA has appointed Examination Master Trainers at the district level and is providing them with specialized training. K. Jyothi, Secretary of the Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC), inaugurated a workshop for the trainers on Monday at KEA headquarters.

The trainer's main role will be to act as a liaison between KEA and the district administration, coordinating examination-related activities. Ms. Jyothi also released a guideline manual to assist the trainers in conducting the exams. In coordination with KEA, all Deputy Commissioners have assigned two senior lecturers from each district to serve as master trainers, who have undergone full-day training on the exam procedures and responsibilities.

Ms. Jyothi emphasized the significant responsibility of the trainers in instilling confidence among candidates appearing for the examinations. The State government has decided to recruit for 72,000 posts, with KEA responsible for conducting recruitment to a significant portion of these positions. Consequently, the trainers must ensure that the exams are conducted accurately and without any errors.
