This system oversees various aspects, such as the administration of premises and livestock data, inventory management of frozen semen stocks, documentation of artificial insemination procedures, pregnancy examinations, and records of livestock births.
Mohd Noor Hisham explained that AIMS would not only enhance operational efficiency in the field but also contribute to the accuracy and integration of national data related to livestock breeding. He stressed that more precise and consolidated data is crucial for supporting policy planning, the development of high-performance livestock breeds, and efforts to bolster the nation's food security.
The ceremony also introduced the AIMS Digital Transformation Award 2026 and the Premier Award for Reproductive Technology Application (ART) 2026, recognizing initiatives that promote the application of technology within the livestock breeding sector. Notable attendees included Agriculture and Food Security Ministry Secretary-General Datuk Seri Isham Ishak and senior management from the DVS.
