ANC seeks convictions in Tsengwa murder case to bring family closure

The African National Congress (ANC) in Knysna, Western Cape, is seeking convictions in the Aubrey Tsengwa murder case to provide closure for the victim's family. Three suspects linked to the murder of Tsengwa have appeared at the Knysna Magistrates' Court. Vusumzi Gungu, Thobelani Lakhe, and Lonwabo Faleni entered the dock in the Knysna Magistrates Court and face charges of conspiracy to commit murder and attempted murder.

The trio are former mayor and ANC ward 8 councillor, Aubrey Tsengwa, who was shot in his vehicle nearly two weeks ago. ANC Regional Spokesperson Moyisi Magalela expressed disappointment at seeing the accused individuals, who are from Knysna and grew up with Tsengwa, now facing charges as accused persons. Magalela emphasized the need for law enforcement agencies to conduct thorough investigations to ensure justice prevails.
