Why Tinubu left Abuja for three-week Europe vacation — Presidency

President Bola Tinubu recently embarked on a three-week vacation to Europe, according to the Presidency. Special Adviser to the President on Media and Public Communications, Sunday Dare, disclosed this during a press briefing on Sunday. The vacation was announced as Tinubu needed to "refuel" after a period of intense engagement with state matters over the past six to seven months.

These months were marked by significant decisions on security, the economy, and other crucial aspects of governing the country. Dare emphasized that the campaign season had begun, which would involve several months of rigorous political activities, though government operations would continue unabated. While the President is away, he assured that he would remain connected to government affairs. Reports suggest that Tinubu commenced this European vacation as part of his regular annual leave.
