BREAKING: Tinubu begins three-week leave, jets out to Europe

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has embarked on a three-week vacation to Europe as part of his annual leave, according to a statement from his Special Adviser on Media and Public Communication, Sunday Dare. Speaking to journalists at the airport, Dare emphasized that the President's trip was well-deserved and would provide him with the necessary rest to "refuel." Accompanied by senior security personnel and government officials, Tinubu departed Nigeria.

Dare highlighted that the President, after addressing state matters and making significant decisions over the past few months, deserved the vacation. The President has been actively tackling issues related to security and the economy. He further explained that with five to six months of campaigns ahead, it was crucial for Tinubu to take a well-deserved break.

Dare noted that the President has been engaged in state affairs for six to seven months, during which time monumental changes and decisions have been made concerning security, the economy, and other aspects of governing the country. Despite the vacation, Dare assured that Tinubu will remain engaged with state matters on a daily basis, receiving briefings from his ministers, service chiefs, and other key decision-makers.
