Seattle Seahawks officially sign CB Terrion Arnold, who faces felony charges

The Seattle Seahawks formally signed cornerback Terrion Arnold on Saturday, despite the fact that he is currently facing felony charges in Florida. Arnold, who is 23 years old, is accused of orchestrating the abduction and beating of three men in February. He was released by the Detroit Lions a few days after the kidnapping, armed robbery and conspiracy charges were filed.

Arnold will be placed on the commissioner's exempt list during the investigation, which means he cannot play or practice with the team but can still receive payments and attend meetings. The Seahawks agreed to terms with Arnold two weeks ago, and Coach Mike Macdonald acknowledged the seriousness of the situation while expressing the team's willingness to give Arnold a chance.

Prosecutors allege that Arnold believed the three men had stolen $100,000 in cash and luxury goods from him, leading to the attack on February 4th. Arnold's defense attorney claims that his client denies the allegations, and his agent states there is "no credible evidence" against him. Arnold has played in 25 NFL games since being drafted by the Lions in the 24th pick of the 2024 draft from Florida State.
