Play role in anti-drug drive, create slogans, songs: PM Narendra Modi to youth

In his latest Mann ki Baat address, Prime Minister Narendra Modi encouraged the youth to contribute creatively to the fight against drug abuse. He suggested that the youth come up with powerful slogans, catchy songs, short plays, and content in various languages to spread awareness about the dangers of drugs and the path to recovery.

Modi emphasized that creative efforts can have a greater impact than formal campaigns and urged the youth to use their skills for social change. The Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan, launched on August 15, 2020, is a government initiative aimed at creating a drug-free India. This year, the campaign is also celebrating the 150th anniversary of Vande Mataram.

Modi also highlighted other initiatives, such as the PM SVANidhi Scheme, which has seen 46% of its beneficiaries as women, and the importance of supporting local artisans during Vishwakarma Puja in September.
