Lake Ontario now called Lake America on Google Maps for US users after Trump ordered name change

The decision follows an escalating trade war between the U.S. and Canada, which has resulted in billions of dollars in added tariffs on each other's goods. While the change was met with indifference in the U.S., Premier Doug Ford of Canada responded with a billboard-sized message on the Canadian shore, stating, "Lake Ontario. Now and forever."
