Complete Warangal Super Specialty Hospital works by October: Health Minister

Health Minister C. Damodar Raja Narasimha has ordered the completion of all unfinished tasks at the Warangal Super Specialty Hospital by October to ensure it is ready for medical services by December, according to a report on Saturday. During a meeting at the Secretariat in Hyderabad, officials from the R&B Department and construction agency representatives informed the Minister that construction at the hospital was nearing completion, with completion expected by October.

Installation of medical equipment, including X-ray and CT scan machines, is ongoing and projected to be finished in September. The Minister announced plans to inaugurate the hospital in December, directing officials to conduct a trial run in November. Regarding the two under-construction Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences (TIMS) hospitals, R&B officials informed the Minister that the Alwal facility will be finished by year-end, while the LB Nagar project is slated for completion by March 2027.
