Calhanoglu fires Inter to nervy Cagliari win, Como stun Napoli

Inter Milan's Hakan Calhanoglu scored an early goal in their 1-0 victory over Cagliari at the Unipol Domus. Calhanoglu's first-time strike from the edge of the box after nine minutes set a dominant tone for the champions, who dominated the first half. However, Inter's profligacy after the break allowed Cagliari to threaten a surprise equalizer.

Despite missing chances, Inter remained unbeaten in their Serie A title defense. The win kept Inter atop the table after two games, with a better goal difference than AC Milan, Juventus, and Lazio. Meanwhile, Como upset Napoli 2-1 in Naples, ending Massimiliano Allegri's home debut with a win. Martin Baturina put Como ahead in the 17th minute, but Rasmus Hojlund equalized for Napoli.

However, a defensive error allowed Anastasios Douvikas to score a second goal for Como. Despite late pressure, Como held on with Stanislav Lobotka's stoppage-time strike disallowed for offside. Como's victory brought them up to four points, while Napoli remained on three points.
