AFAN Mourns Former National President Faskari

The All Farmers Association of Nigeria (AFAN) has mourned the passing of its former National President, Architect Kabiru Ibrahim Faskari. Faskari's death occurred in Istanbul, Turkey, following complications arising from prostate surgery. AFAN's current National President, Farouk Rabiu Mudi, conveyed the association's deep sorrow over the loss in a condolence statement.

Mudi highlighted that Faskari, a dual professional in architecture and farming, had made significant contributions to the development of Nigeria's agricultural sector throughout his life. He further noted that Faskari served as President of the Poultry Association of Nigeria (PAN) and held the position of Chairman of the Agriculture Business Group, where he played an influential role in shaping agricultural conversations within the country.

AFAN expressed its deepest condolences to Faskari's family, relatives, colleagues, and associates, requesting Allah's forgiveness for any shortcomings and granting him entry into Al-Jannatul Firdaus. The deceased, known for his advocacy on food security and agricultural advancement, is to be buried in Turkey, as per family sources.
