Russian shelling kills 1, wounds 6 in Donetsk region

Over the past day, Russian forces launched 24 separate shelling attacks on civilian settlements within the Donetsk region. The Regional Military Administration reported that the brutal bombardment resulted in one civilian fatality and six individuals suffering injuries. The harsh attacks targeted Sloviansk, a district within the region.

The devastation was widespread, with 13 residential buildings, two private houses, a store, two outbuildings, critical infrastructure, and 11 vehicles sustaining damage. The victims included private dwellings, outbuildings, and an administrative building in the Oleksandrivka community. In the Oleksandrivka community's Pryvillia district, four private homes were left in ruins.

The relentless shelling also inflicted damage on Druzhkivka, with one casualty and three apartments destroyed. Over the course of the 24-hour period, the Russian forces shelled these settlements 24 times. Furthermore, humanitarian concerns were exacerbated as 2,152 people, including 90 children, were evacuated from the front lines.
