Russia stocks lower at close of trade; MOEX Russia Index unchanged

Russia's stock market experienced a decline following the close of trade on Saturday, with the MOEX Russia Index remaining unchanged at 0.00%. Among the top gainers during the session were ROSSETI PJSC, which saw a 1.73% rise to 0.05, Magnit PJSC, gaining 1.70% to 1,528.00, and TATNEFT n.a. V.D. Shashin Pref, increasing 1.50% to 540.30.

Conversely, the worst performers included AFK Sistema PJSC, which dropped 0.78% to 7.34, OZON, falling 0.69% to 2,174.00, and Moskovskiy Kreditnyi Bank PAO, declining 0.60% to 9.69. The Moscow Stock Exchange recorded 153 rising stocks, 73 declining ones, and 20 unchanged shares. OZON's shares reached a three-year low, slipping 0.69% to 2,174.00.

The Russian Volatility Index, which tracks the implied volatility of MOEX Russia Index options, remained steady at 47.81. Gold Futures for December delivery experienced a 3.43% decrease, trading at $4,504.10 per troy ounce. In other commodity markets, Crude oil for October delivery decreased by 0.11% to $83.44 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract fell 0.27% to $88.28 a barrel.

The USD/RUB exchange rate dropped 0.19% to 86.14, and the EUR/RUB currency pair declined 0.78% to 99.77. The US Dollar Index Futures rose by 0.55% to 99.64.
