Parents are urged to remind their children not to fall prey to syndicates related to "credit card eggs". Ewon Benedick, the Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Industrial Development, Business and Transportation in Sabah, emphasized the importance of educating both parents and children, especially the younger generation, about the risks associated with unauthorized use of their accounts.

The misuse of accounts can lead to legal consequences if it is found that the account holder was involved in fraudulent activities or illegal transactions.

Ewon stressed that digital usage is now an integral part of daily life and while it offers numerous benefits, it also comes with potential risks. He highlighted the increasing use of QR code payments in various sectors, including small businesses, which indicates that digital transactions are becoming commonplace. However, he also urged a balanced approach in embracing technology to ensure that people, particularly the youth, do not become overly reliant on smartphones to the detriment of their responsibilities and other important aspects of life.

Ewon, who is also a Member of Parliament for Penampang, hoped that the sharing sessions organized through the program would increase awareness among parents on guiding their children to use digital technology safely, responsibly, and effectively. He expressed his continued support for such initiatives that not only benefit society but also serve as a reminder of his responsibility as a parent.
