Hit with stone, strangled: Man kills son suffering with friend’s help in Delhi, both arrested

On August 23, a 64-year-old man and his friend were arrested in Delhi for allegedly killing his 38-year-old son, Gul Hasan, according to police. The victim was reportedly lured to an abandoned container in the Kalindi Kunj area of Southeast Delhi by his father under the pretense of being taken to a doctor. Once there, the man and his friend allegedly attacked Hasan with stones and strangled him with a rope made from cloth waste, resulting in his death. The victim's body was discovered inside the container on the same day.

Both accused, Talukdar Ansari and Md Wasim alias Akram, were arrested on Friday, days after the body was recovered. According to police, the investigation revealed that Hasan was suffering from schizophrenia and other mental health-related problems, which may have been the motive behind the murder. The incident is currently under investigation, with forensic and technical evidence being collected to corroborate the sequence of events leading up to the crime.
