'Frustrated' elderly father kills schizophrenic son along with friend in Delhi

In southeast Delhi's Kalindi Kunj, a 64-year-old man and his 49-year-old friend have been arrested for the murder of the man's 38-year-old son. The suspect's son, Gul Hasan, was identified as schizophrenic and was reportedly aggressive. The father, Talukdar Ansari, told police that he was frustrated by his son's behavior and said he couldn't arrange for his son's treatment, according to Talukdar Ansari.

Ansari's friend, Mohammad Wasim, also known as Akram, worked as a tailor alongside Ansari. Both men were tailors by profession. The deceased, Gul Hasan, was discovered dead inside an abandoned container near the NTPC wall in Kalindi Kunj, around 500 meters east of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway.

Upon arriving at the crime scene, police found an injury mark on Hasan's head, and a concrete stone with apparent bloodstains was nearby. A murder case was registered, and investigations traced the movements of the victim, who was last seen traveling with two men towards the crime scene. These two men were later traced to a stitching factory in Govindpuri, southeast Delhi.

Ansari claimed that Hasan had attacked him and other family members, and that he wasn't able to get him proper treatment. The father, along with his friend, allegedly planned the murder days ago. Once they reached the secluded location, Wasim allegedly struck Hasan with a stone, which was later recovered, followed by Ansari's assault on the victim. Hasan was then strangled with a cloth waste rope, and his body was left at the scene.

Police revealed that they initially planned to push Hasan into the Yamuna river but abandoned the idea after finding people around when they reached the river. During their investigation, Ansari bought samosas to keep Hasan engaged and unsuspecting. Police recovered the concrete stone, the rope used in the murder, and bloodstained clothes worn during the incident.
