EPL Table: Gary Lineker predicts where Chelsea, Arsenal, others will finish this season

Former Barcelona striker Gary Lineker has offered his predictions for the Premier League table this season. On The Rest Is Football podcast, Lineker forecasted that Arsenal will retain their title position and successfully defend their Premier League crown for a second consecutive year. Lineker is also confident that Chelsea will secure the runner-up spot.

Manchester City, according to Lineker, are undergoing a period of transition and are unlikely to challenge for the title. Instead, he believes the club will still manage to qualify for the Champions League. As for Liverpool, Lineker predicts that they will only secure a Champions League spot, but won't be competing for the title themselves. Lineker suggests that Manchester United's squad is not strong enough to compete across all fronts, and therefore, he predicts the club to finish in fifth place.
