Yari meets Seyi Tinubu, plots youth mobilisation strategy

All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council Director-General, Senator Abdul’aziz Yari, held discussions with Seyi Tinubu to strategize on engaging Nigeria's youth demographic for the 2027 elections. Yari emphasized that the country's youthful population is a crucial constituency for conveying the accomplishments of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda.

During the meeting, Yari highlighted that young people are not merely the future of Nigeria but are actively present, capable of spreading the administration's narrative through social media, community networks, and grassroots structures. He stressed the need for the youth to become champions of this story, both offline and online.

The Campaign Council is currently finalizing a comprehensive youth outreach framework aimed at leveraging the digital platforms and traditional networks to disseminate government achievements and counter misinformation. Yari expressed gratitude towards Seyi Tinubu's unwavering commitment to youth empowerment and commended the Minister of Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande, for ongoing support.

He also acknowledged the significance of Tinubu's role in enhancing youth engagement within the party's structures, foreseeing a stronger grassroots presence as the campaign period progresses.
