At Meeting With Seyi Tinubu, Yari Charts Youths Mobilisation Plan Ahead 2027 Polls

Adedayo Akinwale, based in Abuja, reported that Senator Abdul'aziz Yari, Director-General of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, met with Seyi Tinubu, the son of the president, to strengthen collaboration between the Campaign Council and youth-focused stakeholders ahead of the 2027 general election.

Seyi Tinubu was accompanied by Minister of Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande. Yari highlighted the importance of the youth in conveying the administration's achievements, saying they are the ones who will spread the message farthest, quickest, and most convincingly. He expressed optimism about the collaboration boosting grassroots visibility for the administration's programmes as the campaign season approaches.

Yari emphasized that Nigeria's youth population is the most critical audience for communicating the accomplishments of Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda. He noted that young people are not just the future but are the present, and they understand the language of today's Nigeria better than any press statement could. Yari praised Seyi Tinubu's visit and commitment to youth empowerment, stating that it reflects confidence in the Campaign Council's mandate.

The Campaign Council is currently finalizing a nationwide youth outreach framework, which will utilize social media, community networks, and grassroots structures to promote government achievements and counter misinformation. Yari emphasized that every young Nigerian with a phone and a voice can become a messenger for the administration's impact.
