Wawasan mahu kemenangan di Putrajaya yang ‘punya roh’, kata Saifuddin

Wawasan Negara (Wawasan) seeks victory in Putrajaya with a "spirit" and "big vision", said its Senior Assistant Saifuddin Abdullah. The party wants to achieve this goal through a legal and moral approach, he said. A political struggle should not only focus on the end goal, he added, but also on how to achieve it. According to him, a political struggle needs a "big vision" including the goal of creating a better government in Putrajaya and establishing a stable political configuration.

However, the former Foreign Minister noted that this "big vision" needs to be guided by accurate "natural perspective" so that the end goal is not used as justification for actions that go against the law and moral principles. This "big vision" is infused with the Islamic perspective of amar makruf nahi mungkar (urging goodness and preventing evil), as expressed by President Hamzah Zainudin.

This forms the basis of the party's slogan urging for goodness and prosperity, which is the essence of its struggle, he wrote in the "Crossing Spaces" column published by Sinar Harian. Saifuddin emphasized that the approach is important because Wawasan is not just aiming for victory and success in Putrajaya. Instead, the party wants to achieve the aforementioned goal through a strategy that does not conflict with the law and moral principles.

Most importantly, Wawasan seeks a victory and success with a spirit, he said. Wawasan is the rebirth of the Cinta Malaysia Party (PCM), following the Registrar of Societies (JPPM) approving the name, logo, and constitutional change of the party on July 6. The party is also a component of Perikatan Nasional (PN).
