Wawasan Negara (Wawasan) seeks victory in Putrajaya with a "spirit-filled" campaign, says Saifuddin Abdullah. The party leader emphasized that a political struggle should have a "big picture" outlook, including the goal of forming a better government in Putrajaya and establishing a stable political configuration. PETALING JAYA: Saifuddin Abdullah, the Deputy Chairman of Wawasan, stated that a political struggle should not solely focus on the end goal, but also on the means to achieve it, adhering to principles.

According to him, a political struggle should have a "big picture" outlook, including the goal of forming a better government in Putrajaya and establishing a stable political configuration. However, the former Foreign Minister said that the "big picture" should be guided by the right "natural perspective" so that the ultimate goal is not used to justify actions that violate laws and morality.

The "big picture" is infused with the Islamic perspective of "amar makruf nahi mungkar" (encouraging goodness and preventing harm), as stated by President Hamzah Zainudin. This forms the basis of the party's call for goodness and prosperity, which is the spirit of Wawasan's struggle, writes the author in the "Crossing Spaces" column published by Sinar Harian.

Saifuddin stressed that this approach is important because Wawasan is not just about seeking victory and success in Putrajaya. Instead, the party aims to achieve this goal through strategies that do not conflict with laws and morality. Most importantly, Wawasan seeks victory and success with a spirit. Wawasan is the rebranding of Cinta Malaysia (PCM) after the Department of Registration of Associations (JPPM) approved the name, logo, and organizational change of the party on July 6. The party also became part of the Perikatan Nasional (PN) coalition.
