Troops kill over 21 Boko Haram, ISWAP terrorists, destroy camp in Adamawa

Operation HADIN KAI, in partnership with the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) Tactical Team, executed a major offensive in Hong Local Government Area, Adamawa State, resulting in the death of more than 21 Boko Haram and ISWAP terrorists. The troops utilized stealth and precision tactics while navigating challenging terrain, launching a coordinated attack on the terrorist camp.

During the confrontation, two separate engagements led to the killing of over 21 terrorists, while several others were left with gunshot wounds. The joint forces secured the area, dismantling the terrorist camp and destroying its logistics infrastructure, including motorcycles, bicycles, and jerrycans containing Premium Motor Spirit (PMS).

Additionally, several AK-47 rifles, magazines, and a significant amount of 7.62mm Special ammunition were recovered from the site. Goni emphasized that these actions were part of ongoing efforts to locate and rescue victims abducted by terrorist elements, including those from Mussa community in May and schoolchildren from Lassa in June 2026.

The successful offensive showcases the joint forces' capability to operate effectively in challenging environments, disrupting terrorist strongholds and impeding their mobility.
