Korea's Protestant church offer condolences to Nepal floods victims

Following catastrophic flash floods in Nepal, the United Christian Churches of Korea, representing the country's Protestant churches, have offered their condolences. In a statement, the organization deeply mourned those who lost their lives and extended heartfelt sympathies to those who lost family members and homes. The group has consulted missionaries in nearby areas and pledged to work with them, alongside the local Korean community, to support restoration efforts.

Another umbrella organization, the National Council of Churches in Korea, also issued a statement expressing condolences to the victims and highlighting concerns over climate warming. The Catholic and Buddhist communities in Nepal have similarly expressed condolences and pledged to participate in relief efforts.
