Actress Harshita Gaur played the role of Dimpy Pandit in the Amazon Prime Video series Mirzapur. She is set to star in Mirzapur: The Movie, which will be released next week. Harshita revealed that the movie is closely connected to two episodes in season one. When discussing the film, she explained that it goes back to season 1, filling in the gap between episode 6 and episode 7.

Vikrant Massey, who played Babloo Pandit initially, has been replaced by Jitendra Kumar in the movie, and Harshita believes Jitendra seamlessly fits the role. Harshita initially turned down the project, as OTT platforms and character actors were new concepts to her when she first received the call. However, she later realized the impact of her role and is glad she accepted it.

Interestingly, Harshita Gaur has a personal connection to Mirzapur, as it is her maternal hometown, and she has seen guns in her home.
