El Gobierno archiva los procedimientos de inhabilitación de Holaluz

Spain's Ministry for Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge has decided to archive the disqualification and client transfer proceedings initiated against Holaluz on July 16th, according to a statement from the company on Friday. According to Holaluz, the closure of this case will be published in the Official State Bulletin (BOE) on Saturday, and the provisional measures adopted upon opening the procedure will no longer be in effect from the moment of notification, as reported by Europa Press.

Holaluz welcomes the Ministry's action and maintains that the company has been defending itself from the very beginning against what it claims was a one-time situation arising from a dispute over the exigibility of certain invoices. The dispute concerned a total amount of 4,392,776.82 euros, which was covered by a payment plan. Holaluz asserts that both the disputed invoices and subsequent ones are fully paid, and the company is current with its obligations to distributors.

The company also states that it is in good financial health, despite financial tightening measures due to decisions such as the decree on response to the Middle East crisis. Holaluz cofounder and CEO Carlota Pi stated that from the very beginning, they believed the procedure was a purely administrative matter and would be resolved favorably.

Today, they can close that chapter. The company currently holds about 1% of the market and is determined to change the narrative surrounding its situation.
