The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has announced the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2026 results on August 26, 2026. The exam, held on July 2, 3, and 4 across five shifts, saw a total of 19,94,661 candidates appearing for the test. Of these, 13,36,480 candidates at the primary level (Classes 1-5) and 7,59,513 at the upper primary level (Classes 6-8) qualified for the next stage.

The pass percentages were 80.07% for primary level and 71.85% for upper primary level. Working teachers also took the exam, with 93,387 primary-level and 113,384 upper-primary level teachers qualifying. UPESSC utilized a comparative normalisation process due to the multi-shift testing format. To access their results, candidates must visit the UPESSC website, enter their Roll Number or Registration Number and Date of Birth, and submit the required information.
