Pastor unveils Christian matchmaking platform with N700,000 VIP plan

The leader of David’s Christian Centre, pastor Kingsley Okonkwo, has launched a Christian matchmaking platform called Mentor To Marry, offering annual membership plans ranging from N70,000 to N700,000. The platform aims to connect serious Christian singles for intentional, faith-based marriages. According to Okonkwo, relationships have become overly commercialized, making it challenging for young men to find genuine partners.

He highlights that in the past, securing a girl's phone number was sufficient, but now, women expect financial commitments before considering a relationship. The platform, run by Love, Dating and Marriage Ministries, a non-profit organization based in Nigeria, focuses on mentoring before matchmaking. Members must undergo eight weeks of mentoring classes, assessments, and reflection before gaining access to matching services.

The VIP plan, priced at N700,000 annually, includes a dedicated matchmaker, priority access to founders, 15 weekly chats, and off-platform introductions. The platform emphasizes Christian values, accountability, relationship education, and preparation for marriage, prohibiting sexual harassment and exploitation.
