On August 22, two individuals - Mohamad Riduan Abd Ghani, 26, and Muhamad Aiman Izzuddin Sukri, 25 - were found guilty of dangerous riding on motorcycles and endangering other road users on the Lebuhraya Linkedua in Gelang Patah. The incident occurred at 7 am on the morning of the same day. They were charged under Section 42(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987, which carries a maximum penalty of five years' imprisonment, a fine of RM15,000, and potential loss of driving license eligibility.

Their lawyers, RS Amarpreet Singh and Abd Rahim Ali, respectively, requested a reduced bond for Riduan, who is a father and husband, and Aiman, who is an OKU (person with disabilities). The court granted a RM5,000 bond with a surety for both defendants. Meanwhile, additional nine suspects, including a motorcycle officer who caused the road closure during the stunt, were released on police bail on August 5 and August 6.

Eight individuals, including motorcycle riders, were arrested on Monday, while three more were arrested on Tuesday for allegedly causing the road closure for a stunting event. Footage of the two motorcyclists' stunt later circulated on social media, leading to the arrest of the suspects involved. Earlier, a 33-second video capturing the dangerous motorcyclists' stunt near the Senai Senior Km33 to Johor Premium Outlet Km31 stretch was circulated around 7 am, along with several individuals causing road closures to facilitate the stunt.

According to Hasbullah Ali, the Head of the Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department in Bukit Aman, the dangerous stunt was believed to involve RM15,000 in gambling proceeds based on investigations into the suspects detained.
