Nvidia to start employee-funded US political action committee

Nvidia will establish an employee-funded political action committee, according to a source familiar with the plans, as the tech company aims to bolster its influence on U.S. policy. The committee will be named NVPAC, the source revealed. Companies commonly form federal political action committees, or PACs, to contribute to political candidates whose policy stances align with their corporate interests.

Nvidia follows in the footsteps of other prominent tech companies, such as Meta Platforms and Alphabet's Google, in establishing a committee to allocate funds for election influence. Bloomberg Government was the first to report on the formation of NVPAC.
